About

Cozy Coffee Dayz by Shail Srivastava

Hi There! Welcome to Cozy Coffee Dayz! A blog created by a 25-year-old girl who is lost and trying to find her right place in this world. If you have made it to this page, all my heartfelt thanks goes out to you.

A wild adventurer, seeker of wanderlust, an impossible dreamer, and a lover of solitude who loves dreaming with open eyes.

Born and brought up in a small city in India, I have faced a lot of challenges in my life, be it a conservative mentality, having a toxic environment around me, or being bullied all my life.

Growing up, I was never really able to discover who I am as a person. Being an only child, I confined myself in a bubble of fantastical worlds and journaling my thoughts without realizing they meant more than a means of expressing my feelings.

Moving out to a bigger city for my higher studies exposed me to a world that felt alien to me. I was exposed to a new lifestyle, new cultures, new set of people and that opened a different world for me. A world where I realized there is so much more to myself than I have ever learned.

What completely transformed my life was the global pandemic that nobody likes talking about. For others, it was the worst year, but for me, it was the year I discovered my love and passion for writing and creating. I had stepped into the world of fashion and design before that and the struggle to acquire my spot as a working 9-5 person was a phase that helped me shape who I am today.

I started my journey as a fanfic writer. Yes, a fanfic writer, having no aim or goals as to where it would take me. I have been writing and creating stories since 2019, tried my hand at writing in different niches before, had several blogs that failed miserably until Cozy Coffee Dayz happened.

Cozy Coffee Dayz is a multi-niche blog or rather an online journal for me to share my day-to-day activities, my struggles, and challenges and let out my creative outlet in the form of stories and poems, in hopes to inspire others like me who question their day-to-day existence in this cruel, meaningless world.

What to expect from Cozy Coffee Dayz?

I will be sharing my thoughts and opinions on mental health issues based on my own personal experiences, in hopes to connect and inspire at least one person out there in the world because I know how hard it is to decide to live and take charge of your own life.

I will be sharing posts on lifestyle, health and wellness, food, reviews, and everything I can think of in this spectra of niches.

Since I’m a big bookaholic, I will not only share my book recommendations but also book reviews, writing tips, and writing exercises for my fellow creative writers who come across my creative writing niche of Cozy Coffee Dayz.

It is a free and open space to share your opinions and thoughts. I’d love to have interactive readers and would welcome constructive criticism as well.
