Podcasts are the new way of getting the point across by influencers and artists on all socials nowadays. Whether it be storytelling, something fun, or something motivational, everything’s available in the form of audio files that we can access at any given time. It is a good thing to incorporate into our daily lifestyle, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, either. Not everyone is a fan of listening to podcasts, and it’s fine. There are many other sources to learn new things, but if you do love podcasts, this post is for you.
What is a Podcast?
Podcast by definition means,
A collection or series of digital audio files that are made available for downloading or listening via the Internet. Each individual audio recording is known as a podcast episode. Podcasts are typically hosted by an individual or individuals who lead a conversation, share stories, or report the news.

I have recently gotten into the habit of listening to podcasts, so I haven’t got to explore many of them yet. I listen to them whenever possible, and I have developed some favorite genres which are true crime, Reddit stories, storytelling and the very recent is motivational and lifestyle and oh! I’m in love with those.
Even though most of the time I listen to them for fun, some particular ones have impacted the way I used to see life, and with this post, I want to share those 3 with you all. There are only 3 yet because I’m still deep diving into the world of podcasts.

Make your damn bed by Julie Merica is packed with small three to five minute episodes that you can listen to while making your bed in the morning. I’m almost close to day 60 and her points and advice leave you pondering on those topics she talks about. Honestly, it’s the best way to start your day.
It’ll not only help you in building a habit of making your bed every day, which is very important as it leaves you feeling good and refreshed for the entire day, but will also help you see life from a different perspective. In her recent episode, she shared that self-improvement can be toxic as well, and it’s okay to take a break and just live. I would highly recommend making this podcast a part of your daily lifestyle.
As the name says, the podcast is all about self-improvement. Lawrence talks about different ways and topics that can help us in improving our self-esteem and self-confidence and help us grow.
I have recently started this one and haven’t heard a lot of episodes, but the ones I did make me think about myself and made me question a lot of things that helped me into deep dive into my soul and see things from a different light. His episodes range from five minutes to an hour, so you can listen to them while eating, walking, or simply before sleeping because the best time to fill your mind with positive thoughts is before sleep.
Out of the lot, this one’s my favorite. Francesca Amber is a single mother who has gone through a lot in her life and is a strong believer in the law of attraction. She not only shares tips and tricks but also her journey of how she manifested a lot of things in her life and is a big motivation for a lot of women out there in the world who struggle in their lives.
Not just for middle-aged women, this podcast is helpful for anyone who is suffering from mental health issues and is on the verge of giving up. Her episodes are filled with lots of emotions and are relatable to many out there in the world. I would highly recommend to everyone to give her podcast a try.
There’s no need to make extra time to listen to these podcasts. I listen to them while I go on walks, while eating, or making my illustrations. Basically, do habit stacking, something I learned from the Make Your Damn Bed podcast. It’s easy, convenient, and will help you in the long run because tiny changes are still changes.
